Hello! We are CodePink Reno, the northern Nevada chapter of CodePink.
What is CodePink? It is a feminist, grassroots organization working to end U.S. warfare and imperialism, support peace and human rights initiatives, and redirect resources into healthcare, equity, education, green jobs, and other life-affirming programs.
We are working toward a more peaceful world, and like our national organization, we are focusing our attention on raising awareness of the horrific oppression, occupation, and genocide both in Gaza, the Occupied West Bank, and Lebanon.
We have started this fundraiser with the goal of supporting our advocacy, educational endevors, and mutual aid efforts. This includes, but is not limited to, sending funds directly to families in Gaza, purchasing tents, water trucks and food to be ditributed within Gaza (when possible), running anti-imperialism/equity-focused local events, collaborating with other mutual aids, creating art, meeting, protesting, etc
